So after leaving Lodz earlier in the morning Jarek and I visited a few fantastic places on the way to our friend Katka's place in Ostrava, Czech Republic. First a stop to see the famous Black Madonna icon, then on to a lovely ancient castle. It was a long day, but worth it.
Here is a picture of a copy of the Black Madonna, since she wasn't in her place when we went in!
mmmm! And here is a fairly traditional Polish lunch on the way to the castle!
